With suppleness and distinguished elegance, this Clémence Merlot displays a strong character, enhanced by ageing for 10 to 12 months in oak barrels. At first glance, it is the intense garnet red colour that seduces you and evokes passion. Then, on the nose, ripe and powerful aromas appear in a crescendo. In addition to its frank and velvety tannins, you will detect aromas of liquorice supported by nuances of black fruits, sweet spices and roasted beans. To appreciate all of its rare flavours, we recommend that you open the bottle in advance, to allow it to breathe to take full advantage of its power.
A gourmet touch: round, ample, full-bodied, this wine is the perfect accompaniment for braised meats, pasta dishes or mushroom fricassees.

Traditional vinification followed by maturing for 10 to 12 months in barrels allows this wine to fully express itself. Matured in French oak.

Intense red with garnet highlights; clear and limpid.
Mouth
A wine that is easy to drink thanks to its elegance, suppleness and this grape variety’s typical velvetiness. Rich aromas of black fruit (black currant, blackberry), red fruit – notably cherry – and mild spices. Maturing in oak makes this robust wine round, full and powerful.
