Expressive, warm aromas characterize this grape variety created in Switzerland, a cross between Gamay and Reichensteiner. Before you serve this well-structured wine with its beautiful purple robe, take care to open it and let it breathe by carafing it. The wine will increase in power, unveiling first through its nose, then in mouth, its aromas of spices, black fruits and toasting. Elegant, classy: it has a lovely long mouth with a slightly spicy finish. It is matured for 10 to 12 months in wood casks; it pairs beautifully with fine cuisine dishes.
